Sydney Film Festival Trailer: Blue

May 12, 2017
A chilling look at an environmental crisis of staggering proportions.

Filmed over two years in Indonesia, the Philippines, Hawaii and Australia, Karina Holden’s documentary is a wake-up call, explaining in chilling detail the monumental negative impact that human activity is having on the world’s oceans, and the terrible consequences that await if it continues unchecked.

Marine biologist Lucas Handley, shark activist Madison Stewart, FNQ ranger Philip Mango, seabird specialist Dr Jennifer Lavers, sustainability promoter Tim Silverwood, Greenpeace SE Asia’s Mark Dia and oceanographer and shark expert Valerie Taylor are all on hand to explain the cost in this sobering film.

Blue screens at the Sydney Film Festival from June 10 – 12. For tickets and session times, head to the official site
