Short Film of the Week: God in the Sky
Australian sci-fi by brothers Daniel & Sean Fox, the short follows teenager Dee (Tali Simon), after a cosmic entity suddenly appears in the sky. Sending everyone on Earth 'visions of the afterlife', Dee suffers a crisis of faith when she doesn't receive any visions at all. As life begins to return to a new 'normal', Dee attempts to reconcile her complicated emotions with the world around her. Playing at numerous film festivals around the world, including St Kilda Film Festival locally, this ambitious film is now available to view online.
