Part of a project that includes a poem, an illustrated book, an experiential festival, and a whole movement, not dissimilar to Taryn Brumfitt’s female body image crusade, but in this case based around anxiety, Stefan Hunt’s short film on the topic finally lands online after touring locally and internationally since 2017.
“Three years ago I was the one on the couch, crippled by fear. But this poem, this film, this project has changed all that. Reminding myself I’m going to die has shifted my approach to life,” says Stefan Hunt.
“As someone who experiences crippling anxiety, the film helped to further normalise these neurosis and realise the community was much larger and that it is nothing to be ashamed of,” says Jared Jekyll, the star of the film.
