Well, this is cool! Foxtel is launching a dedicated Star Wars pop-up channel for one weekend only and broadcasting all seven Star Wars films back to back, from The Phantom Menace right through to The Force Awakens. It’s like Foxtel got sick of you talking about marathoning the whole saga and is inviting you to put your money where your mouth is.
Available to Foxtel Movies and Foxtel Platinum subscribers, the special channel will run from Friday, September 30, until Monday, October 3. This follows in the footsteps of the hugely successful Star Trek pop-up channel which ran in July, proving that, if nothing else, Foxtel is bipartisan when it comes to the Trek/Wars rift.
