Dendy Cinemas in partnership with Screens Without Borders will be screening the Ukraine’s 2014 Foreign Language Film Oscar entry THE GUIDE on Friday 17 June.
All proceeds which include 100% of the Box Office will be donated to the International Red Cross and directed towards the Ukrainian Relief.
Inspired by real life events – The story of The Guide takes place in the early 1930s during the Holodomor, or Terror-Famine when the Soviet regime killed millions of Ukrainians largely by starvation. Several nations have formally recognised the Holodomor as a genocide.
