Haris and Nick met at acting class in 2019, they bonded over two things.
Their desire to make things and to talk about their crippling anxieties. This project allows them to do just that. Both Haris and Nick know what it’s like to come into adulthood in Sydney where the show is set, a bizarre city where you grow up quicker than you expect.
In the last five years, the industry has started welcoming more stories that allows comedy and pathos to exist side by side. Conversations about mental health and male mental health have also started to take place more and more which is why this is the perfect project for right now!
The Boy Who Was Afraid of Everything is a story that is told from a diverse and fresh perspective, it promises a new experience in story telling whilst having the familiar aspects that audiences love to see in a coming of age project.
