Set in 1960s Hong Kong, In the Mood for Love is a hauntingly beautiful 2000 film from celebrated director, Wong Kar Wai. Two neighbors, Chow Mo-wan (played by Tony Leung) and Su Li-zhen (played by Maggie Cheung), find themselves entwined as they suspect that their spouses are having an affair with one another. An unspoken connection blossoms between them, born from shared pain and longing.
