Screen Queensland-funded comedy series finds a new home with Tiny Scripted, bringing creator Catherine Mack’s fertility comedy to a global audience.
Swimmers, the Screen Queensland-funded digital comedy series created and directed by Catherine Mack, has just premiered on Tiny Scripted’s YouTube platform, the companies announced, confirming an official US and worldwide distribution partnership between the production and Tiny Scripted.
The deal marks a milestone for the Australian-made series, bringing its distinctly Australian brand of dry comedy to international audiences.
About Swimmers
Swimmers follows one woman’s funny, awkward scramble through modern fertility as she searches for a path to motherhood. With dry humour and emotional honesty, the series finds comedy in awkward donor encounters, questionable candidates and the absurdities of trying to make a family when the usual route no longer fits.
At heart, Swimmers is about how far we’ll go for the family we want.
A bite-sized comedy for women whose lives won’t stick to the script.
