Bondi’s iconic Dolphin Court will host another season of unmissable outdoor summer movies!
Imagine basking in the late afternoon sun, feeling the gentle ocean breeze as you settle down on a squishy bean bag for a movie under the stars… sigh. Well, you’re in luck as Sunset Cinema returns for another glorious summer of movie experiences at the Bondi Pavilion! From 13th November, screening Tuesday to Sunday for six weeks, Sunset Cinema will be bringing its signature mix of new releases, family faves and all-time classics beachside at Bondi’s iconic Dolphin Court.
Catch the biggest summer releases under the stars, including the spellbinding musical Wicked: For Good, the thrilling sequel Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and comedy favourite Good Fortune. Music lovers can rock out to Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, while mystery fans won’t want to miss Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Story.
Plus, make it family movie night with Disney’s underwater classic Finding Nemo and Kangaroo, a fun-filled Aussie adventure that’s perfect for a summer night under the stars.
Experience the wonders of the sea with One Ocean Film Tour – Volume 5, celebrating adventure and conservation, then escape to paradise with The Beach, a stunning reminder of why protecting our oceans and beaches matters.
This December, get those festive bells jingling with all your favourite Christmas flicks, from Love Actually to The Holiday and family favourites Elf and Home Alone.
New this year, Bondi favourite, Promenade Beach Bar will be serving up the perfect picnic-friendly menu to movie lovers, with ready-to-go options like vermicelli noodle salad, burrata with tomatoes, and snack packs featuring chicken schnitzel burgers, fish and chips, or grilled chicken with pita and slaw. On the sweeter side, there’s a layered honey and walnut cake and a rich chocolate brownie.
Treat yourself to a VIP experience in the Fever-Tree Lounge. Get front-row seats with premium Bean Loungers and bottomless popcorn. Plus, every guest will receive a complimentary G&T or premium Fever-Tree soda!
