Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is pleased to announce the return of the prestigious SPA Awards, an annual celebration of creativity and Australian storytellers, to be held on Thursday 30 April, the final evening of the SCREEN FOREVER conference on Queensland’s iconic Gold Coast.
The SPA Awards recognise outstanding contributions by SPA members to Australia’s screen industry and are the only awards voted solely by screen businesses whose work drives Australian storytelling.
The 24th Annual SPA Awards Entry & Category Guidelines, released today, include nomination eligibility information for each of the twenty award categories including the newly introduced “Factual Series Production of the Year”, along with all other awards details.
Early bird entries open from Monday 27 October to Friday 14 November, with all entries closing Friday 5 December 2025. All financial members of SPA are eligible to enter.
Finalists in each category will be announced in January 2026 on the SPA Awards website.
