The REELise Film Festival supports and celebrates pocket filmmaking by young people (10-18 years) about navigating life in a digital world. It’s a Festival to share youth stories and perspectives and help you find your voice.
This year, finalists in each State and Territory of Australia will screen at local virtual Festivals. Winners in each region will then be flown to Sydney and treated to a VIP REELise Film Festival experience and screening in VMAX at Event Cinemas.
Entries are now invited in the 2022 short film competition. All films must be shot on a smartphone or iPad, be 5 minutes or less and explore the competition theme “VIRAL”. Entry close is 5 August 2022.
Prizes include cash, filmmaking equipment and industry experiences with Australian film and tv production houses.
