K29 Studios, an independent Australian production company, is thrilled to announce the release of their latest comedy series, In Search of the Perfect Climax. This quirky and absurd series follows two amateur writers, Robin Banks and Teddy Bare, on their wild and wacky adventure as they attempt to become international bestsellers by stealing original plotlines and characters from a Bank of Fiction.

In Search of the Perfect Climax aims to cater to the current trend of short-form, vertical content by presenting a scripted series in an engaging and digestible format. With one episode already reaching 40,000 views, the series demonstrates the potential for high-quality, narrative-driven vertical content to captivate audiences. K29 Studios hopes to leverage the series’ success to pitch similar concepts to larger production houses.

Synopsis: When Robin Banks and Teddy Bare decide to rob a bank, they don’t mean a traditional one. They’re after a more literary heist, targeting a Bank of Fiction to steal original ideas, characters, plotlines and climaxes. However, their plan quickly goes awry when they’re caught by the ever-so-clever Senior Constable Cnut and her partner, Halva Cnut. On the run, they attempt to escape and hide, only to end up in exactly the type of predicament they’re not ready for – a genre cross. They’ve accidentally ended up in a spaghetti western, and run into the wrong saunter of cowboys. Do they have what it takes to navigate this genre and get back to their own storyline?

● Format: Vertically shot and edited, 9:16 ratio, 13 x 90-120second episodes

“I wanted to overthrow the status quo of storytelling,” says Kaytee Elliott. Vertical content is the new frontier, and I’m here to claim it. In Search of the Perfect Climax is more than just a show; it’s a middle finger to the old guard. So buckle up, because things are about to get weird.”
