Brisnova just got a whole lot tougher! Supanova Comic Con & Gaming is thrilled to announce that the legendary ‘Muscles from Brussels’ himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, will make his Supanova debut in Brisbane for one day only — Saturday, 8 November 2025!
A true icon of action cinema, Van Damme exploded onto the world stage with his unforgettable blend of martial arts mastery, charisma and high-kicking heroics. From cult classics like Bloodsport and Kickboxer to Hollywood blockbusters including Universal Soldier, Timecop, Hard Target and the video game-inspired Street Fighter, Van Damme remains action film royalty and an icon of global pop culture.
Fans can catch JCVD for an exclusive Saturday-only appearance kicking off that day’s awesome array pf panels and seminars with Q&A focusing on his career thus far as well as what’s waiting ahead for his fandom.
Meanwhile the action doesn’t stop there with Kyle Sandilands, the co-host of the record-breaking Kyle & Jackie O Show and current judge on Australian Idol, also joining his Zombie Plane co-stars for an explosive on-stage panel alongside Sophie Monk, Brian Austin Green, Cody Simpson, Nicky Whelan, Joey Vieira, John Jarratt, and Lincoln Lewis, as well as co-producers Alex and Victoria Fleri and directors Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier. The outrageous action-comedy featuring celebrities-turned-secret agents battling zombies at 30,000 feet has become one of Australia’s most talked-about film projects, making this Supanova appearance a must-see for fans eager to catch the stars behind the mayhem.
