The World Trailer Awards, that honour excellence in entertainment marketing creative, has today announced its regional winners for 2023.

Over 70 regional winners were selected by a panel of more than 450 highly influential international entertainment opinion leaders and industry experts. Each of the regional winners plus highly commended by the judges will now go through to the final round of judging for the overall global winners, to be announced at an awards ceremony in Algarve, Portugal on 25th February. Entries came from seven regions: Africa, Asia, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & North Africa, and North America.

The World Trailer Awards’ global jury brings together senior executives from production, distribution, broadcast & streaming alongside creative directors and key opinion leaders to select the best submissions in 30+ categories from Cinema, TV (Broadcast/Cable), Games and Streaming Services.

Serving as a new standard of excellence for the world’s entertainment marketing industry, the World Trailer Awards champions the creative marketing concepts that bring entertainment products to life, delivering audiences and driving revenues for the global entertainment industry. From trailers to posters and social campaigns to outdoor, the range of categories make The World Trailer Awards unique in the sector.

The awards will take place at the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura in Algarve, Portugal on 25th February and they are again, powered by AMD and supported by media partner Deadline. Attendees from across the world will be in attendance to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the world’s best entertainment creatives.

  • Best Trailer (Cinema) – Veina Yang and Walter Bienz from The Solid State for The Last Daughter
  • Best Poster (Cinema) – Demi Hopkins, Andy D’Cruze, Cassandra Chapman from Carnival Studio for Embrace Kids (pictured)
  • Best Online Advertising (Cinema) – Mark Westerby from WestMark Productions for Millie Lies Low | Behind the Scenes
  • Best Teaser Trailer (Streaming) – Netflix Creative Studio for Heartbreak High

  • Best Trailer (Streaming) – Netflix Creative Studio for Alice in Borderlands
  • Best Poster (Television) – Demi Hopkins, Mike James, Nick Sullivan from Carnival Studio for Crazy Fun Park – Key Art
  • Best Sizzle (Television) – Muthu Browning, Sam Russo, Stephanie Cholakyan from Warner Bros. Discovery for ‘WB – Theatrical Reel’
