The award-winning film and television production company behind some of Australia’s most beloved and critically acclaimed series, including Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Eden, and SeaChange announced three new development projects ahead of the 2023 Screen Forever conference.

Every Cloud Productions CEO Drew Grove said the company was thrilled to be forging new creative partnerships across their slate and cementing Every Cloud’s position amongst Australia’s most innovative independent production companies.

“Since our inception in 2009, Every Cloud Productions has established a reputation for producing quality content that puts audience experience first and champions fresh and diverse talent,” said Mr Grove.

“Our latest development slate projects will ensure this legacy continues and actively supports and mentors emerging talent while championing the representation of women, LGBTQI+ and other diverse voices on screen.”

State of Grace inspired by real-life experience, is created by and starring actress Katrina Milosevic, known for her role on hit Australian drama Wentworth. The show is comedy and tragedy in equal measure about an unsuccessful stand-up comedian who suddenly finds a fresh comic voice when her mother is diagnosed with cancer.

Reality Check brings the outstanding talents of Christiaan Van Vuuren (Bondi Hipsters, Sunburnt Christmas, Queen of Aus) and comedy writer/director Adele Vuko (Love Me, Christmas Ransom, Skit Box) to a heart-warming dramedy about a handsome reality-TV bachelor who, when tragedy strikes, is thrust unexpectedly into the role of ‘Dad’ to his sister’s three young kids.

Bhang Bhang, created by emerging writer and director Meleesha Bardolia, and mentored and supported by Every Cloud Productions through Screen Australia’s Generate funding program, is a genre-bending, Bollywood-inspired ‘whodunnit’ about an Indian Australian detective dragged into dangerous and morally ambiguous crime.
