The ABC will premiere a powerful new two-part documentary, Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator, on Tuesday, 9 June at 8.30pm on ABC TV, with both episodes available to stream on ABC iview.

For the first time, Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator brings together the full story of one of entertainments most disturbing double lives. Featuring survivors who have never spoken publicly before, the series charts Harris’s rise from suburban Perth to the heights of British fame and influence, while revealing the pattern of abuse that unfolded behind the scenes for decades.

Harris died in 2023, aged 93, never expressing public remorse. In the years since, the silence that once protected him has begun to lift. The series gives voice to those who were previously unable to, as they share their experience on their own terms.  But his death has finally lifted a veil of fear once cast by this powerful figure, and survivors who long feared retribution are at last able to speak.

More than a fallen celebrity story, Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator examines how charisma, institutional loyalty, and cultural reverence allowed a predator to flourish, and honours the resilience of those who refused to let his crimes be forgotten.
