One of Australia’s leading postproduction houses, Cutting Edge Post, with offices in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, have shut shop, laying off staff and appointing liquidator Robson Cotter Insolvency Group to manage affairs moving forward.
With recent credits such as TV series Good Cop/Bad Cop, Nautilus, The Office (Australia) and films such as Land of Bad, Ticket to Paradise, Thirteen Lives, The Pope’s Exorcist and the Halloween Trilogy, Cutting Edge benefitted from the recent flood of offshore productions shooting in Australia, however, the high overheads of keeping the doors open can impact greatly if work dries up, especially at the mercy of a fluctuating US dollar.
