Originally intended as a one-night only engagement across cinemas around the world, Andrew Dominik‘s acclaimed 3D black & white documentary One More Time With Feeling has already enjoyed an encore, but now comes news that the film will screen again on December 1.
The film was originally commissioned as a standard promotional making-of for the Bad Seeds new album Skeleton Tree, however, Dominik’s friendship with Nick Cave, plus the latter’s recent loss of his son, has resulted in a poignant portrait of Cave and his family’s grief, and also an insight into the process that the artist uses to create.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will be touring Australia and New Zealand in January, and it has just been announced that a North American tour will follow from May 2017.
Also released today is the music clip from one of the songs on the album, ‘Magneto’, which is an excerpt from the film.
