Perth rockumentary Meal Tickets will open the 2016 Sydney Indie Film Festival, playing on Monday, October 10, with a post-screening Q&A with producers Brooke Silcox and Dave Kavanagh. Shot over a decade, director Mat de Koning’s film follows the fortunes of Perth band Screwtop Detonators as they come of age in the rock’n’roll business, with all the pressure, debauchery and temptation that entails.
Now in its second year, the Sydney Indie Film Festival runs from October 10 – 20 in various locations across Sydney. For more info, head over to the official site.
