Deceased underworld figure and author, Mark Brandon “Chopper” Read is one of several cult figures making an appearance in the new independent feature film, Start.Options.Exit.
Also appearing are Tottie Goldsmith and former porn star, Ron Jeremy.
Read filmed his scenes for Start.Options.Exit prior to his death in 2013 (obviously). Directed by Chris Mitchell and Yoav Lester, the film is described as “a no holds barred exploration of the male ego story [that] follows the exploits of wayward twenty somethings Yolis and Neville as they glide through their own primal instincts and cruel intentions, circumventing morality and social convention in a world where selfishness if the motivation and consequence has no voice.”
“They say not to work with animals and children, in this movie we not only did that but decided to throw in a murderer for good measure. Chopper was an intimidating character to direct but a truly unique talent who brought so much to the film.” said Mitchell.
Following its successful festival run, the film will be available for a limited download and streaming season from September 15, at the official site.
