Baby Driver matters. It’s the film that will in a large way determine where director Edgar Wright goes from here, being his first film after wrapping the Cornetto Trilogy with The World’s End. You may love Generation Nintendo paean Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, but it didn’t really raise a ripple outside of its dedicated cult. Baby Driver, however, could.
Which is why you’re gonna want to to spread this video far and wide, putting it in the grill of all your less knowing mates.
“Holy crap!” they’ll say. “This looks frickin’ amazing!”
“Hell yeah it does,” you’ll nod knowingly. “How’s that for a slice of fried gold?”
“What?”
…and that’s how you segue into Shaun of the Dead.
