Acclaimed and hugely prolific film composer Hans Zimmer is headed our way, bringing with a full orchestra along with him to perform highlights from his decades-spanning career.
Having launched at Lomdon’s Wembley Arena earlier this year before touring Europe, Hans Zimmer Revealed has won rave reviews. The show sees Zimmer perform pieces from many of his classic film scores, including Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Lion King, as well as reinterpreting works such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception.
“Performing a concert series like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled to visit Australia and New Zealand and return to Europe where we had so much fun playing in the summer.” said Zimmer. “I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”
Hans Zimmer Revealed hits Auckland’s Vector Arena on April 29; Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on May 2; Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on May 4; The Brisbane entertainment Centre on May 6, and Perth Arena on May 8. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 1, via mjrpresents.com.
