With challenging dungeons and powerful bosses being regularly added to the WoW gaming content, it is hardly possible to get bored. Furthermore, novice players may feel insecure in the game. If you are new to WoW raids, no worries — you can always order a WoW carries boost and have professional gamers complete the most difficult raids for you. You can even hire a coach to guide you in the game and boost your skill level. Additionally, there are also plenty of WoW trailers that can tell you a story depicted in your favourite game.

One of Blizzard’s signature features is the release of epic cinematics before the launch of each new expansion. These game-inspired clips create tension, show action, or even create a cinematic-type experience, making players feel like they’re playing a game rather than watching a movie. Another great thing about cinematics is that they help the game tell its story. Almost all fans of World of Warcraft consider WoW cinematics to be the best that Blizzard has created. We agree and are ready to share with you the top five that we like most of all.

#5 — Cataclysm (2010)

“Cataclysm” is an excellent cinematic, and it’s a “no-brainer” to consider it for the top position in all rankings. Every aspect of the cinematic, such as the music, voice acting, and the portrayal of the Deathwing that caused widespread destruction is iconic and memorable. Deathwing is far from the worst of Warcraft’s terrifying foes. However, this clip effectively creates a spectacle of the approaching apocalypse, uniting players’ emotions about the major places of Azeroth that are on the verge of destruction. Most players admit this cinematic is so well done that it remains captivating even after multiple viewings.

#4 — Mists of Pandaria (2012)

The “Mists of Pandaria” cinematic trailer kicks off with a Human and an Orc hunting for each other in Pandaria, leading up to their fighting with each other. During the warfare, an unknown warrior appears. An Orc and a Human team up to defeat a strong Panda. Although the two join their forces, the fight ends with an easy victory for the Pandaren. The trailer ends with a view of a beautiful green city with many plantations and mountains, Pandaren training, and the words that they fight to protect families and bring harmony.

#3 — Battle for Azeroth (2018)

We can compare this cinematic trailer to “Warlords of Draenor” since it has become one of the most epic and cherished videos among players, unlike the expansion itself. In under 4:29 minutes, players can witness escalating tensions between the Horde and the Alliance as each side strives to possess Lordaeron’s ruins. We expected top-tier, adrenaline-pumping action scenes from this teaser, which Blizzard Entertainment delivered flawlessly. There are two goosebump moments in the trailer that really deserve your attention: at 2:11, when Sylvanas exclaims, “For the Horde!” and at 3:56, when Anduin Wrynn resurrects his army and shouts, “For the Alliance!”

#2 — Warlords of Draenor (2014)

Blizzard Entertainment has again demonstrated its visual art brilliance in the epic cinematic trailer, this time with a dark twist on World of Warcraft history. The “Warlords of Draenor” cinematic trailer tells the story of Garrosh Hellscream, who escaped the Dark Portal and now wanders Azeroth, fusing orc tribes into a war machine known as the Iron Horde. It’s an intriguing new take on the old, an alternate past in which the Orcs are no longer slaves. Garrosh, on the other hand, transforms them into conquerors.

#1 — Wrath of the Lich King (2008)

The cinematic trailer for “The Wrath of the Lich King” is, by far and away, the finest, most iconic, and most unforgettable WoW opening cinematic of all time. It depicts the Lich King, who was an icon in gaming culture long before World of Warcraft existed and is the best villain in the game so far. The video also shows Arthas’ transformation from Paladin to Lich King.

The whole attention is on Lich King Arthas in the trailer. He begins to walk gently when we are exposed to a full demonstration of his aggressive side and powers at a moment’s notice. Having a Warcraft 3 throwback also helped boost the enthusiasm, as the entire speech we hear was derived from Arthas’ father’s own comments to Arthas’ younger self. After Arthas takes the life of his father and destroys Lordaeron, the lines seem to emphasize the different kind of monarch he’d become.
