Fed up with his bad reputation in the public sphere, Lucifer himself decides to hire a PR specialist with the aim of rehabilitating his persona in the eyes of humankind. Grace Chapman, a former shill for Big Tobacco, is his chosen vessel. Given she’s recently deceased, the job offer is more than tempting – it’s her only shot at salvation. Written and directed by David Harris, The Advocate is a dark comedy that trades in social and religious commentary. Starring Kylie Maree as Grace, Jeremy Levi as Lucifer, “…a fallen angel with a white collar education and a blue collar attitude”, and Kiran Wilson as Gavin the Great, Lucifer’s nephew and now, thanks to nepotism, herald, the five episode series hits YouTube on April 25.
