There was something for everyone in this week’s massive release, A Minecraft Movie. directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite!!!) Putting things into perspective, Minecraft has already amassed more than double the $$ in one weekend that Snow White has into its third week.
Speaking of American films dominating Australian screens, what’s going to happen now that Trump’s tariffs are in place? Oh, hang on, they’re already being implemented in our cinemas if you compare how things work with films from outside the US… we’re talking box office cuts, screen numbers, session times, etc, etc.
