Deadpool & Wolverine has tapped into a very rich vein of superhero movie love, gazumping the competition, although Longlegs somehow managed to beat the odds and carry on from its strong opening, just like in the US. In fact, Australia should just be called Little America…
Speaking of which, another Like a Photon (QLD based animation studio) release, The Sloth Lane, under-performing in cinemas whilst Hollywood fare Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 1000 just keep raking it in.
