Despite lukewarm to damning reviews, it was the Michael Jackson show on Australian screens (and the rest of the world) this weekend; and why didn’t anyone tell us that David Spade and Theo Van starring comedy Busboys hit our screens? Meanwhile, video game adaptation Exit 8 pulled in the punters on limited release, whilst Australian new releases Beast and Alphabet Lane continued the trend of local films struggling to gain any meaningful traction at the box office.
