Nominated for a Logie Award and multiple AACTA Awards, Jaggi Entertainment is dedicated to developing, producing and financing quality commercial feature films, documentaries and series.

Over the past 5 years Jaggi Entertainment has produced a raft of screen projects, enjoying success in the young adult (YA) and romance genres. Highlights have included the Netflix original YA series Dive Club [below], as well as YA feature films Rip Tide (Netflix), Back of the Net (Disney Channel), Swimming for Gold (Universal Pictures) and The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay (Disney Channel). In the romance space, feature films have included This Little Love of Mine (Netflix), Romance on the Menu (Hallmark & Netflix), Love in Bloom (Brisbane International Film Festival), Sit. Stay. Love (Lifetime) and Mistletoe Ranch (Blue Fox, Wild Bunch), with forthcoming releases including A Royal in Paradise, Romance at the Vineyard and When Love Springs. In 2022, the company produced the first Australian Premium Large format feature documentary created specifically for a tween audience. Beyond The Reef released in Giant Screen theatres both domestically and internationally in both English and Mandarin, and features actor, writer and social media superstar Shuang Hu.

With the majority of these productions shot in Queensland, Jaggi Entertainment has made a strong economic contribution to the Queensland screen industry, bringing in excess of $40 million dollars of production to the state over the past three years, and has provided training and employment opportunities to hundreds of local cast and crew. Additionally, the company is proud to showcase Australia’s stunning landscapes to a global audience.

The new branding retains the ethos founder Steve Jaggi sought to create – a boyhood dream of endless horizons – whilst better reflecting the scale and ambition of the new studio group. The change continues to build on Jaggi Entertainment’s commitment to creating audience focused commercial content for global buyers. A key focus during the rebrand is to ensure the studio is positioned to meet the on-demand content needs of streaming services and broadcasters.

The studio encompasses not only development and production, but a post-production arm and newly formed co-financing division. Jaggi Entertainment continues to double down in its belief in the Australian screen sector by expanding to Victoria via its recently opened office in Fitzroy.

Of the evolution to Jaggi Entertainment, CEO Steve Jaggi comments “I couldn’t be prouder of the fantastic catalogue of work we’ve created over the past couple of years, and I look forward to working with an ever-diversifying group of talented filmmakers and creative talent as we continue to expand our global footprint.”

Looking to the year ahead, Jaggi Entertainment will widen its focus into the action and thriller genres, while continuing its commitment to produce quality, audience-focused, uplifting titles in the young adult (YA) and romance spaces.
