Box Office Report: September 1 – 4, 2022

Bullet Train maintained top spot, whilst Father's Day offerings Top Gun: Maverick and Spider-Man: No Way Home (not my father?!) re-emerged in cinemas with a vengeance. Orphan: First Kill was a surprising performer, smashing Dr George's Three Thousand Years of Longing on Week 1. Interesting successful asides were Chinese blockbuster comedy Moon Man with a healthy screen average on limited release and local doco Franklin, which previewed only as single screenings on Sunday to a very healthy result ahead of this Thursday release proper.
