Box Office Report: August 18 – 21, 2022
Piccolo and the gang from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero opened very nicely this weekend, with one of the highest screen averages, while Aussie flick Bosch & Rockit wiped out unfortunately, as did Girl at the Window which came in at #21 this weekend. Good Luck to You, Leo Grande opened ok, though disappointing considering all the brouhaha over Emma Thompson's visit to our shores, otherwise, it's pretty much same same at the top, while the rest of the screens are mostly playing Indian blockbusters of various languages and a South Korean one, Emergency Declaration, which is ironic as the Korean Film Festival in Australia kicks off.
