Robert A. "Bob" Burns is a legend in horror circles for his iconic art direction on classics of the genre such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Re-Animator, The Hills Have Eyes and The Howling, and the late great's obsession with Rondo Hatton, known as "the monster who doesn't need makeup" due to his acromegal condition, which he developed due to exposure to poison gas, and which led to him playing 'the creeper' in a number of films in the 1940s.
