The first 007 instalment with Daniel Craig definitely set the par for Bond movies, especially with luxurious casino betting scenes shown in Montenegro. Betting sites like Sportsbet, saw huge surges in interest for online gambling and all betting in general. We can understand why. But nothing really matches up to the excessive props and movie locations that No Time To Die will be showcasing. This movie has beaten the limits set by Casino Royale and other movies. It has been said that for just one movie scene in particular, a total of 8,400 gallons of cola was used to make Bond’s motorbike action stunt flow smoothly and successfully. Film producers have not been stingy, to appease movie scenes in the best light.
It has been confirmed however, that this movie stunt in particular was actually thought up by Craig himself, for the stuntman Paul Edwards. This useful trick allowed Edwards to clear the wall and cobble from a 25ft ramp leap, at approximately 60 miles per hour. It was the residue that built some resistance and allowed success for the scene.
The stunt coordinator, Lee Morrison, happened to quote the estimated costs of the scenes which used Cola, and let’s just say that for a few hours filming, €60,000 was seen as nothing to ensure seamless execution. Using coke also polished up the street cobbles really nicely, meaning that surrounding residents will definitely not have anything to complain about.
The expectation that has been built from this movie release, is definitely not like any other within the Bond series, and in fact, the entire canon of movies within this franchise. Being delayed twice has really made fans quite impatient (us included). However, knowing that Craig had a large participation with Morrison in the early scenes, definitely makes Craig’s final movie all the more special, if we may say so ourselves.
While many multiplexes await to showcase this movie within their cinemas, unfortunately one may not. Cineworld is one of the many businesses that has been severely affected by the economic stress, directly caused by the pandemic. It is unfortunate for the industry, being that Cineworld is one of the oldest theatres within the movie business. Yet, Warner Bros’ decision to postpone the release was definitely for good reason, with many actors from the movie like Craig, etc. joining in their support for the wait.
No Time To Die will be released at the same time all around the world and for that to happen, all the cinemas need to open with the safest guidelines and procedures. The estimated date for release is the 2nd of April 2021, however it is subject to change. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the April release actually does happen, as people cannot wait any longer…
