Yvonne Strahovski has joined the cast of Shane Black’s reboot/sequel/we’re not really sure, The Predator. Coming Soon has reported that the Chuck and Dexter star will be playing the ex-wife of Boyd Holbrook’s square-jawed leading man, and mother to his son, played by Jacob Tremblay.
Apart from Chuck (And seriously, how good was Chuck? That show deserves more love), Strahovski has cropped up in everything from I, Frankenstein and The Astronaut Wives Club, to the underrated Australian rom-com, I Love You Too. She’s also no stranger to the voiceover booth, having lent her lungs to the role of Batwoman in Batman: Bad Blood, and Miranda Lawson in the Mass Effect video game franchise. She’ll next be seen in Hulu’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale.
