It’s taken him 7 years to follow up the brilliant A Single Man, but based on early WOM and the look of the first two trailers, we’re betting that the time has been well spent by fashion icon turned filmmaker, Tom Ford.
Starring the ubiquitous Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with impressive support from Andrea Riseborough, Michael Sheen, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney and Ellie Bamber, and adapted by Ford from the novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright, the film looks like the sort of multi-layered adult fare that will resonate with upmarket audiences, and may even turn into Oscar front-runner.
