Between soaring production costs, corporate dominance, and the cancellation of major cultural festivals across the region, emerging artists and game developers are losing the vital launchpads that launch careers and creative commercialisation.

UNSW has officially opened Expressions of Interest (EOI) for SPLICE 2027 (15–17 January at UNSW Paddington).

SPLICE connects emerging talent across art, technology, film, and game design directly with the resources needed to scale their work.

Across three days, selected creators gain access to:

  • Industry decision-makers and capital

  • Emerging tools and production technology

  • Live playtesting, build demos, and direct audience feedback

Applications close Friday, 30 October via this form
