Veteran screen industry executive JOHN GREGORY is launching a new streaming platform dedicated to revitalising and rediscovering classic black-and-white films from the golden age of Cinema.
RevivaTv, an Australian originated streaming platform has been designed to bring classic black-and-white films to contemporary audiences through colourisation, image upscaling and sound enhancement.
The new platform plans to become a new home for revitalised classic cinema, renewing the opportunity for older films to reach new audiences in an increasingly competitive streaming landscape.
Many classic films have languished for decades proving difficult for modern viewers to discover or experience in a format that meets contemporary viewing expectations.
RevivaTv seeks to bridge that gap, connecting screen heritage with new technologies and fresh commercial opportunities.

RevivaTv is working with Disruptor Post, an Australian startup specialising in film revitalisation, including advanced image upscaling and colourisation. The collaboration brings together technical expertise and a new distribution pathway, with the shared ambition of transforming how audiences discover and experience classic films.
The initiative also creates an opportunity for the screen industry to reconsider the commercial value of underexploited film catalogues, connecting preservation, restoration and revitalisation with contemporary viewing habits.
For rights holders, the platform represents a new avenue to extend the life of existing assets, reach fresh audiences and explore additional commercial opportunities from established screen catalogues.
