The creative genius of national-treasure singer-songwriter Nick Cave has transitioned well to the screen in exemplary projects like John Hillcoat’s The Proposition, Lawless and Ghosts…Of The Civil Dead, and now the great one’s novel The Death Of Bunny Munro gets the adaptation treatment courtesy of BAFTA winning screenwriter Pete Jackson (Somewhere Boy) and BAFTA-nominated director Isabella Eklöf (Industry, Holiday). The six-episode series stars Matt Smith as the eponymous rapscallion, a sex addicted door-to-door beauty salesman and self-professed lothario who finds himself saddled with his young son, Bunny Junior (Rafael Mathé), and only a very loose concept of parenting.
The Death Of Bunny Munro debuts on Binge and Foxtel on November 20.
