Plunge to the depths of the Earth

Join ocean explorer, film-maker and technology innovator, James Cameron, veteran of eight pioneering deep-sea expeditions, in conversation about his record-making dive to the deepest point on Earth. The vessel of this landmark voyage – the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible – was built in Sydney and will be on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour from 19 December. Learn how his passion for the ocean has inspired some of his famous films, and how his documentaries reveal the secrets and stories of the sea.  

Ticketholders will have exclusive access to two of the Australian National Maritime Museum’s major summer exhibitions: James Cameron – Challenging the Deep and Ultimate Depth – Journey to the Bottom of the Sea. Exhibition entry will be available immediately after the event until 9pm.
