A conservative American Twitter account recently threw out what appeared to be a stark look at the dark side of progressive politics, namely this:

Which is, on the surface, a pretty damning indictment. But wait! Fans of Home and Away or Ash vs Evil Dead – there’s not much crossover – will recognise the above as not a frontline Trump booster beaten down by rabid Bernie Bros, but actress Samara Weaving. Here she is looking much more presentable:
And just in case American audiences didn’t make the connection, living legend Bruce Campbell fired off a quick tweet to set the record straight:
Check your facts, folks. This is an actress named Samara Weaving from #AshVsEvilDead. This is a make-up test. Sad. https://t.co/JAAM8VWry6

Weaving herself was less than impressed with being co-opted for nefarious political purposes, tweeting to Conservative Nation, “I’m not an American. I can’t vote in your country. This is so stupid … get rid of this please,”
Having completely recovered from her non-beating, Weaving has a number of projects on the horizon, including family fantasy Monster Trucks, horror-comedy The Babysitter, and the Perth-shot drama, Bad Girl.
