Creator/Showrunner Robert Siegel (The Wrestler, Pam & Tommy) has been sitting on this for years, and the popularity of true crime on streaming platforms finally allows him to tell the outrageous story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee (Kumail Nanjiani) and the salacious establishment of the Chippendales brand and franchise. Aussie Murray Bartlett plays choreographer Nick De Noia, whilst real life characters such as Dorothy Stratten, Peter Bogdanovich and Paul Snider (played by FilmInk fave Dan Stevens!) also make appearances in this Hollywood Babylon morality tale.
