Philippa Bateman's documentary uses legendary 2004 concert Kura Tungar — Songs from the River, featuring Archie Roach, the late Ruby Hunter, and Paul Grabowsky and 22-piece Australian Art Orchestra Wash, adding never before seen footage and sweeping images of Hunter’s Ngarrindjeri country in South Australia, for a film that celebrates artists at the peak of their powers, exploring the true meaning of home.
