The trailer for the upcoming Warner Brothers animated comedy, Storks, is here, and it looks cute, if pretty unfocused. There’s a standard daddy issues plot welded to something a little more unwieldy, wherein Andy Samberg’s stuff-up stork is trying to impress his dad (Kelsey Grammer) while the latter’s baby-delivery operation is transitioning into, well, Amazon-style product delivery with the serial numbers filed off.
There are some laughs to be had, for sure – Grammer’s delivery of the line “power move” is killer – but seriously, do people still tell their kids that babies come from storks?
Storks lands on September 22.
