Trailer: Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel
Killing Eve's Jodie Comer stars, with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Adam Driver (and their hair), in this adaptation of Eric Jager’s book The Last Duel: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat in Medieval France, by Nicole Holofcener, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. With its central theme of powerful men and a woman accusing one of them of assault, this certainly looks like a story for our times. And is the title of the film prophetic at all, considering Ridley Scott's first feature was The Duellists back in 1977 (not really, considering House of Gucci will be released the following month)?
