Trailer: Next Goal Wins
It's Ted Lasso, but with an English coach and Pacific Islanders as the team! Taika Waititi adapts the 2014 documentary of the same name, which sees Michael Fassbender's has-been recruited by the American Samoan national team to turn things around after copping a 31-0 drubbing by Australia. One of the most delightful aspects of the doco was the Samoan culture's acceptance of gender difference, which looks to also be embraced here. Can't wait! Let's hope Waititi does a better job adapting this after the offensive Jo Jo Rabbit.
