Luca Guadagnino directs, from an original screenplay by actress turned writer Nora Garrett, with a cast led by Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield, also starring Ayo Edibiri, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny. This looks like a throwback to numerous films set in a similar power-imbalance milieu (who remembers Oleanna?), with the added bonus of wokeness.
