8-episode series adaptation of the Dickens tale, here set in 1850s Australia, created by Australians (James McNamara, David Maher & David Taylor), and featuring a mostly Australian cast - Maia Mitchell, Damon Herriman, Tim Minchin, Miranda Tapsell, Susie Porter, Damien Garvey, Kym Gyngell, Vivienne Awosoga - apart from the two leads, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger, and David Thewlis as Fagin. Still and all, great to see Disney+ investing in local productions.
