The Book Week writer/director mines his roots for the bittersweet Christmas movie starring Steve Le Marquand, Darren Gilshenan and popular band Middle Kids vocalist Hannah Joy in her acting debut, who will also contribute songs to the film's soundtrack.
One night, a burglar dressed as Santa Claus is surprised by Victor, a young wide-eyed boy who believes the thief may actually be the real Santa Claus. But when Victor follows the could-be Santa, the mismatched pair embark on an unexpected adventure across the Holiday season that will change both their lives in unexpected ways.
A Little Bit of Hope Goes a Long Way... Hector has been living on the motorways for years. His once comfortable family life has been replaced by a never-ending tour of service stations that offer him shelter, anonymity and food. As he begins his annual pilgrimage south from Scotland to a temporary Christmas shelter in London where he enjoys the warmth and comfort of friendship, Hector decides to reconnect with his long estranged past. Over the course of his Homeric journey, his previous life begins to catch up with him, revealing the story of how he came to be leading a marginal life on the outskirts of society.
