Continuing the great tradition of Ozploitation cinema (hey, even Roger Ward pops in for an eye popping role), filmmaker James Di Martino’s debut feature, The Faceless Man, follows a group of friends on a quiet country getaway, which turns very sour when they are met with a small town’s strict anti-drug policy, and the enigmatic Faceless Man – a manifestation of the lead character’s anxiety, or is he?!?

Starring Sophie Thurling, Lucas Pittaway (Snowtown), Andy McPhee, Brendan Bacon (Innuendo) and a myriad of familiar local faces, The Red Carpet Costume Premiere of The Faceless Man is on Thursday, October 31 at Classic Cinemas in Elsternwick. Get in quick as this event will sell out.
