Winner of 37 awards and screened at over 100 festivals, The Orchestra is a heart-warming hand-drawn short from Australian director and animator Mikey Hill, produced by Melanie Brunt of Feather Films.

The tale is one of hope and second chances, co-written with Jennifer Smith who worked alongside Hill on his previous animated short, The Not-So-Great Eugene Green.

Combining the warmth and wistfulness of traditional hand drawn animation with a complex, emotional score by composer Jamie Messenger, Vernon and his charming band of guardian instrumentalists take us on an up-lifting search for self-confidence, and finding the courage to live your dreams out loud.
