Back in the innocent time know as 2014, Bethesda released Wolfenstein: The New Order. Full of wonderfully visceral violence, most of it perpetrated against Nazis, the game felt quaint but with a surprisingly hefty story. Now in 2017, the sequel – The New Colossus, slated for release on October 27 – feels bold and horrifyingly relevant.
Thanks a bunch, hideous, dystopian reality!
So sit back, drink in the slightly-too-close-to-the-bone political satire for most of this gameplay vid, and then – in the later sections – enjoy the blissfully cathartic Nazi slaughter.
